Clemson Tigers Baseball
The Tigers opened up with a stunning lost against the UAB Blazers this afternoon at Dougs Kinngsmore Stadium. By attending the game tonight, I realized that this years baseball team has much more offense work than I expected. Initally, since we lost John Henson and Jeff Shouse, I knew it would definatily be a challenge for the upcoming season. Tonights game showed me just that. By the end of the game, the Tigers only upheld four hits to their eight hits. Unfortunatly, the Clemson Tigers ended up coming up a little bit short. Trying to rally in the later innings of the game, the Tigers failed to execute bases loaded in multiple occasions. The starting catcher for the Tigers made it appoint to be the rising front runner in the Clemson Tigers offensive production. Finishing the night with two of the four Clemson hits, he also caught a solid game behind our outstanding pitching performance tonight. The Tigers play host to the same UAB team tomorrow at one, starting a double header. Hopefully, the Tigers can get it together and start swinging the bats.
